Look at it 

its so tiny

but when I look at it 

it looks so very big 

I mean 

usually these little . mean that something is ending 

the end of some story 

but as I came into through the door 

that little . wasn’t a dying breath 

it wasn’t the ending of anything 

just a change of pace 

this little . gets bigger every day 

its seen so much 

such a little . 

it looks happy 

it feels happy 

and I feel like I oddly long for it 

because I guess I’m just curious what will come 

if I allow such a . be seen at the end of my sentence 

because everyone knows when you end a line with a .
